Adventures On Your Doorstep IV

Near & Far

Hey! 😄 It's been a while since I checked back in with some photos, for many reasons, but mainly due to a lack of focus. I'm happy to say that i'm (finally) back with a few new images. In recent weeks I've focused on making more time to create and get a better balance in my life in terms of creative output. Finding the focus and motivation away from work is often one of the hardest things. Finding the motivation after a full day at work can feel difficult, and I constantly have to remind myself that i'm extremely fortunate to have amazing tools and technology at hand with which to create art. I touched on that idea in my last post, which you should totally check out if you're feeling at a loss with your creative output too. In the midst of all of that, I've been clicking away and making photos - from trips to south Kerry, to an impromptu trip to county Clare (much more to follow there), i've had a few opportunities for photo making. Below you can find a selection of images that I've enjoyed creating in the last while. More to follow. 😄

Oh, happy listening to go with these pics.

Kerry Cliffs & Valentia Island

One for the star wars fans to get things started!

The presentation of time in cliff faces always blows my mind a little. Here's a pretty perfect example.

Apologies for the Instagram embed here, I couldn't get the original panoramic photo to load properly.

Amidst the rugged landscape sat an abandoned tower/house at the top of Bray Head on Valentia Island. There was a strange sense of beauty, for something so derelict.

Bray Head Cliffs, Valentia Island

On Monday (18.7.16) I took a trip to the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare. They're an amazing site and i've shared images from previous trips here on the blog. It was a lovely day out, and I arrived home around 9pm. I decided to head to the beach to catch the sunset, as it had been WAY too long since I'd last caught a nice one on the beach at home. I couldn't have dreamt of a more beautiful site to greet me. Suffices to say it's moments like this that always bring me back to complete contentment in life. All the worries go away, and everything feels perfect. While technically not the greatest of images, I've so much love for this place that it's probably amongst my favourites I've ever taken.

That about wraps it up for this post. As ever, if you liked this post please give it a heart below, and - even better - share to your friends and family, or a shoutout on your blog. I'd really appreciate it. Any thoughts or questions, you can catch me on social by the following links:

OH, I almost forgot! I'll be opening a print store in the coming weeks, all going well, so be sure to drop me a message if ever you see one of my images that you think you might like to pass on as gift for someone, or even just for yourself.

Take care and have a great week! 😄
